Young Leaders is a programme (funded by the Welsh Government) to train Silver or Gold participants age 16-20 to be DofE leaders for younger participants whilst being mentored by their Leader or Development Officer. It can be used as the volunteering section of an Award.
This programme has huge personal and employability benefits for the young people, younger participants can benefit from having a peer involved in their DofE experience and it can be an immensely useful tool to you as a leader.
