For those who aren’t Members of Scouting, roles like ‘Scout Leader’, ‘Beaver Scout Sectional Assistant’ and ‘Occasional Helper’ won’t mean much.
All most parents know about the ‘Cub Scout Leader’ is that they seem to be a very busy person who does lots of different things and they’d certainly not want to take on that role!
Perhaps if we split up the role into different tasks, and had a team of people covering these tasks, it would be easier to recruit volunteers?
