What happens next?
Once you’ve filled in the form, you’ll get an automatic email from us – please check your spam folder if you don’t get this.
Once you’ve filled in the form we’ll check if there’s room in the group you’ve requested. If there is then we’ll transfer your details to them and one of their leaders will be in touch letting you know when you can start.
Make sure you check your emails regularly as our volunteers may not always have time to phone or text – email is our primary means of contact. If we don’t get a reply after 3 weeks we may need to remove your child from the waiting list.
If there’s no room we will let you know and will try your second choice, or offer you another alternative.
You will have the option to stay on the waiting list until a space becomes available at your chosen group if this is what you want.
Your details are kept on a system called Online Scout Manager. Once we have placed your child in a Section we will transfer their details across to that Section, also on OSM.
