Please note some changes to the Nights Away rules.
1. All Nights Away activities must be APPROVED by the appropriate Commissioner
2. Risk assessments must be in place, recorded and shared for ALL activities, including Nights Away
3. Contingency plans must be in place and shared
You MUST NOT take young people on a Nights Away activity WITHOUT APPROVAL from the District Commissioner. This will come via email in reply to your submitted Form NAN which must be completed at least 7 days prior to the event.
Nights Away activities are where young people spend the night away from their own home, whether they sleep or not.
The online Form NAN on the District website has been updated to reflect these changes.
