Last night we held a District Team meeting. The Team is the group of adults and young people who help me support the District.
 
The headlines are…
  • We looked out the census results and came up with actions to help prevent drop-off as young people move between Sections
  • We looked at District meetings and decided to have one All Leaders Meeting, one GSLs meeting and three Team meetings a year as more and more things can be discussed online
  • We came up with a plan for the District Youth Team including a session to get them to mix with adults on the Team and also running a Sixers’ Day later in the year
  • We looked at District events including recruiting more adults to support and how to improve the booking system
  • We planned more Join-in sessions for the District Team to come and meet you during your meetings
