Fancy doing your day job in your holidays without getting paid?
For every World Scout Jamboree a temporary city is built for 50,000 people. This city has supermarkets, hospitals, banks, buses, a telephone system, fire service, police – everything any other city or town has.
But all of it is run by volunteers called the International Service Team or IST.
As well as running the infrastructure, these amazing people run all the activities, ceremonies and stage shows.
The next World Scout Jamboree is being held in America in 2019 and applications for the IST are opening soon.
