Who needs a St George’s Day parade!? The Scouts in Wrexham are all about finding new ways to prepare young people with #SkillsForLife! Today we took over Bellevue Park in Wrexham for our first Promise Day including first aid, wallpapering and cooking – all vital things everyone needs to know as they start off in life.
As well as the more traditional firelighting, pioneering and navigation we also had bases on stop-motion animation, green-screen, team building, communication skills and even how to put together flat pack furniture. We finished off the day with everyone coming together to renew their Scout Promise. Cracking day – thanks Bellevue Park for hosting us!
