Wrexham District shall we go to Reunion to mark Gilwell Park’s 100th year…!!?

Gilwell Reunion is an annual event established to mark the first Wood Badge course in 1919.

The event has run every year since 1921 (except for four years during the Second World War) and is an opportunity for adults in Scouting to experience an active, educational weekend and to meet up with friends old and new from across the globe. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about projects and programme activities, share knowledge, network and have fun!

What better way to get together and celebrate our centenary at Gilwell Park?

They’ll be dozens of workshops and seminars, as well as activity training and a practical, engaging programme. Evening entertainment will be in full swing with live music,  film screenings, quiz and campfire.

How much and how to book?

Bookings will open early 2019. Last year it was £33 for the weekend, not including food. We could hire a coach if enough people are interested, which would be roughly £23 per head if we fill the coach.

If you’re interested, please book below and get £35 deposit to us so we can book the Reunion place when they open, then when we know numbers come back here and book the coach.
