Remembrance Service – Sunday 14 November 2021

The Annual Service of Remembrance is to be held at the RWF Memorial, Bodhyfryd, Wrexham, on Sunday 14 November, at 10.55 a.m. and a cordial invitation is extended to your organisation to send a detachment to take part.

Detachments may march to the Memorial with the military and march off with them at the conclusion of the Service. Detachments not wishing to march may proceed direct to the RWF Memorial.

Arrangements may have to change at short notice should any further restrictions be put in place by the Welsh Government. Please provide an email address in order that any changes can be communicated to you promptly.

Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell and/or are experiencing any symptoms associated with Covid-19.

Although the event takes place outdoors, please consider wearing a face covering if you are unable to maintain social distancing during the Service. We are expecting the Service to be well-attended.

There may be many people feeling anxious about attending. Anyone is welcome to lay a wreath or to pay their respects following the conclusion of the Service or later in the day when crowds have dispersed.

Unfortunately, there will not be any refreshments following the conclusion of the Service, as the Memorial Hall is still in use as a Covid-19 Testing Centre.
