District Development Day
We’ve listened to you! Clearly yet another Zoom meeting, and certainly one lasting 3 hours, didn’t float anyone’s boat. Combined with the upcoming relaxation of restrictions allowing 30 people to meet for organised activities outdoors, we’ve moved this event to Sunday 9th May and it will be a face to face meeting at Cox Wood. We’d love to see a wide variety of volunteers make up this 30 so that our Development Plan reflects the District it is there to serve.

So that we can put together a plan of actions for the District Team and District Executive over the next few years, we need your help in properly assessing what our biggest challenges are, thinking about what we need to do to face those challenges, and deciding how to measure whether what we are doing is making a difference.
We could just contact a few District people via Zoom to do this, but it we wouldn’t get a proper idea of what the real challenges that grind the gears of the leaders who are running Sections. The more views we get, the better our plan will be.
We’re not pretending this sort of stuff is for everyone, but some of you may get just as much out of this sort of thing – and be able to use it back in your Groups and Units – as you will contribute.
