Our volunteers have been busy again! We have put a new front door into the Clywedog Lodge building and made a new COVID safe activity area at Cox Wood.
Previously there wasn’t a way in from the front of Clywedog, with access being from the rear or the link with Alyn Lodge. We’ve also updated the kitchen with a brand new gas cooker and a blue colour scheme. This is now the Blue Kitchen. Fully available for Activity Day events or evening visits in 2021.
The new activity area on Crib Goch, just behind the climbing tower, has a permanent marquee roof to provide cover when meeting under Amber restrictions, plus a camp fire area and fire barrels for backwoods cooking.
