We’re sad to pass on the news that our German Scout friend Günter Schmidt has gone home.
Günter was instrumental in the Partnerschaft (twinning) between the Scouts of Hemer in Märkischer Kreis and us in Wrexham & Llangollen which has endured since the 1970s.
This partnership has led to many Scouts’ first international trip, and many lasting friendships.
Günter, thank you for being our friend!
